April was a nice balance of work and play. I started so many things: my second year of teaching in Japan, cooking adult vegetables, Japanese lessons on Tuesday evenings, volleyball on Wednesday evenings, and probably some other things I’m too tired to remember right now. The weather finally warmed up which opened the door to evening walks through my favorite park. I enjoyed the last of the sakura blossoms. I read more books (tried my best). I grew even closer with my friends here in Japan. I bought a new plant. I ate a kastu sandwich at a basketball game. April was nice.
